In November of 2011, Bakhuyzen Landscape Management was involved in work at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.  We were one of the contractors involved in helping with the installation of PorousPave, a flexible and porous paving material.  The pathways and amphitheater surrounds previously was a chips and dust type material, which was a maintenance headache for the park.  PorousPave was installed to eliminate the maintenance problems, and at the same time provide a porous and ADA compliant surface throughout the park.
